New Year, same ol' me!

Hey Diva,

Here we are again… embarking on a brand new year! Some see it as a way to wipe the slate clean and try again. Others vow to make changes in their lives, a popular one being to eliminate things and people that are toxic.

Whatever it is, please know that you need not wait until the “New Year” to get the ball rolling! I took my bud nippers out a long time ago and starting pruning dead branches. It took awhile, but I finally unveiled the happiness, joy, and utter bliss that were there all along…imagine that! 

And…the best part was having loved ones in my circle that celebrated this epiphany right along with me. But wait...not everyone in my circle celebrated with me "for real"... and you know exactly what I mean. You see, the thing about happiness is that those who don't have it will not be able to rejoice with you…and it doesn’t take long to see who they are. So girl, start pruning! 

Unveil the beauty of life that is waiting for YOU! This year, I want you to release YOUR inner diva! But most importantly, prune away those dead branches. After all, certain people come into your life for just a season so don’t feel obligated to hang on once the season has ended and the growth has ceased.
