Paying it forward!

On June 13, 2012, I was given the honor of speaking with the students of the Upward Bound program at Clark Atlanta University about how and why I started Spoiled Diva by CL Felder.

I've never considered myself to be much of a speaker. As a matter of fact, I actually shy away from it because I'd much rather be behind the scenes designing and sewing. Not to mention that fact that I wasn’t even sure if my story was interesting enough to hold the attention of an audience.
However, I am happy to say that the entire experience was amazing and the students really embraced all that I shared...they even asked me tons of questions after my presentation which tells me that they were interested and engaged!

Big smooches to Ms. Tina of The Artistry Firm for allowing me to come into her classroom and share my experience...I hope that someone was inspired by my words. I also send big smooches to my friend, sister, and stylist Keren Charles of Two Stylish Kays for dressing me  for the occasion! I must admit I wasn't feeling the look at first and the polka dot skirt scared me to death! But with the addition of the right accessories, hair, make-up and "Diva Attitude", it all came together quite nicely. I LOVE the way I look, thanks Keren!
