Spoiled Diva Remix: Frumpy to Fierce

Hey Diva,

So…on my last thrifting excursion, I spied this floral print dress and decided to give it a home.

Now I know it has somewhat of a “granny” flavor to it, but I looked past that and saw its “diva potential”. I really like the mock turtleneck, padded shoulders and long sleeves which are some of my FAV design elements. It even has a matching belt which was unfortunately about 4" too small for my waist.

But with a simple snip snip here and a nip tuck there, I transformed this frumpy frock into something super HAUTE. I was even able to increase the length of the matching belt with the fabric that I cut out of the dress!

Spoiled Diva's farewell to summer!

Well Diva,

Summer is officially a wrap…but you won’t see me shed a tear!  I was getting so jaded with the super HAUTE temperatures down here in the south. Besides, I’m looking forward to breaking out the fall wardrobe. Thigh high leather boots, blazers, and turtlenecks... oh my! Not to mention the uber sexy handbag and jewelry designs debuting for Spoiled Diva's fall/winter collection.

But before I leave summer behind, I wanted to share one of my FAV looks, styled by Keren Charles of Two Stylish Kays.

Keren presented me with this thrifted, neon yellow skirt with sequin polka dots during one of our style sessions back in the early part of summer.  It had ZERO hanger appeal and I hated it, but once she worked her magic, I fell in love.

Here, I am wearing the skirt as an asymmetrical, one shoulder dress with a corset style belt. We added the ankle booties and BAM!

OOTD: Biker Chic Wedge Heel Sneakers

Hey Diva,

Wedge heel sneakers made an initial splash this past Spring/Summer and it appears that they are going to continue to make waves this Fall! I wasn’t sure how I felt about them…until I tried on a pair for myself. I’ll admit I wasn’t a fan at first, the thought of a sneaker with a heel just sounds so plain silly! But when you pair them with just the right outfit you get EFFORTLESS GLAM!! Watch out Diva, I am really feeling this look!
