Diva Dish: P3 Beauty Tea hosted by MiMi J

Hey Diva!

So…last Sunday, I attended MiMi J’s P3 Beauty Tea in Atlanta, GA…and what a delightful afternoon it was! Mimi J is a hometown girl (we’re both from Kansas City, MO) so I was super excited about showing my support at her event.

The other hostesses for the afternoon included make-up artist Alexandra Butler, fashion blogger Mattie James and natural hair blogger Maeling Tapp and was held at Studio Wed in Atlanta, GA.

During the course of the afternoon, the ladies chatted, shared beauty secrets and enjoyed light nibbles and gourmet tea provided by Soren Tea.

I truly enjoy seeing women come together to celebrate each others achievements. Genuine love, support, and sincerity are all elements that make a great sisterhood!

On August 8^th, I had the pleasure of attending the Delphine Publications launch party with a few of my BFF’s (Blog Fab Fashionista’s). The event was held at Studio Couture boutique in midtown Atlanta and was hosted by Marlo Hampton of The Real Housewives of Atlanta. Congratulations to Ms. Tamika Newhouse, author and CEO of Delphine Publications on a successful launch…the Spoiled Diva wishes you all the best!

I built my look around this 1970's inspired satin, paisley print blouse which I found on one of my thrifting excursions. The animal print, feather embellished clutch by Spoiled Diva gives the whole look a bit of understated glamor. A Diva about town!

Oh my goodness! I am feeling oh so dapper in this tuxedo inspired look…the only thing missing is a top hat, right? NOT!

Just another manic MONDAY!

Happy Monday Diva!

Didn’t I tell you on Friday that Monday would be here again in like 15 minutes? Well…was I right or was I right?

Yesterday, I had the pleasure of celebrating the birthday of one of my dear Diva’s, Parker Simmons of Everyday Runway. It was a radiant Sunday afternoon, perfect for Sunday brunch! This by the way is exactly what Ms. Parker had arranged for all of the guests attending her birthday celebration at Social Vinings in Atlanta GA. 

I had a wonderful afternoon hanging out with Parker and my other BFF’s (Blog Fab Fashionistas)! Everything was beautiful; I especially loved the personalized place settings and the cake.

Towards the end of the afternoon, as Parker thanked all of the guests for attending her birthday celebration, she surprised us by going around the room and sharing personal stories of how she met each guest and what she loved and appreciated about us. There was not a dry eye in the place when she finished! That was the sweetest moment I experienced in a while. People just don’t take the time to tell one another how much they are appreciated. It was so nice hearing such kind words. 

I actually get a kick out of how Parker and I met. She approached me in the parking lot of a retail event in which I was participating because she was in love with my Neon Color Block Leather Earrings.  Let her tell it, she "stalked" me for my earrings, lol! Read the story here!
Ever since then, Parker has been a loyal customer and is becoming a wonderful friend! She also reps Spoiled Diva very well!
